RCSA - SDS

The RCSA SDS has been developed by recruiters for the recruitment business. It is practical, effective and understandable. The standard is built on the well recognised principles of quality management, including the same basic requirements such as planning, effective execution, monitoring and continuous improvement. However the RCSA SDS standard goes further - it specifies items essential in recruitment such as employment screening and placement management, occupational health and safety, privacy and candidate management. This makes it easier for the recruitment agency to implement an effective system, and provides confidence to your customers that you are conducting all appropriate checks and retaining essential records.

The RCSA SDS has been designed for use both by very small businesses (our smallest client has 1 and a half staff), through medium sized right up to major national and international businesses. The standard will give you a clear framework for you to establish an effective system for managing your business. It will assist you to build lasting relationships with clients and candidates, ensure you comply with legislation, identify process efficiencies, clarify staff expectations and more.

The ISO 9001 Quality Management Standard and the ISO 4801 Occupational Health and Safety standard are complementary with the RCSA SDS. A number of businesses choose to combine the RCSA SDS with one or both of these standards, which provides them the benefits of the recruitment specific requirements from the industry standard, with the wider recognition of the ISO standards.
